Located on the harbor right next to where the cruise ships pull in, the Westin is the closest hotel to our reception location.
The Westin is located right next to the Halifax Bus terminal. The Acadian bus terminal was a place that Dan and Laura frequented, making regular trips by bus between Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

Located on Spring Garden, the main strip in Halifax with restaurants and coffee shops to spare.
The Lord Nelson is just a block away from Dan's apartment and overlooks the Halifax Public Gardens. The Public Gardens are a beautiful spot, open only during the summer months.

Marriot Harbourfront Hotel
Formerly known as the Casino Hotel, the Marriot Harbourfront is attached to Casino Nova Scotia right in downtown Halifax. The Harbourfront is indeed, right on the harbour. With a view of Dartmouth and the bridges on one side and a view of some highways on the other, being picky about which side you stay on may make a big difference in terms of your enjoyment.
For those looking for a high-end hotel that's just a dice-throw away from some all-day action, the Harbourfront is sure to fit the bill.

Dalhousie University
For those on a budget, we have the answer! Halifax is a University town, with three Universities in just this small city. During the summer months, all those residences are uninhabited and just begging for guests. As a result, Universities rent out residence rooms to vacationers and travelers for rates that are significantly below hotels. If you don't mind roughing it a bit, you're sure to save some money and have a blast living residence style.
